Day 17: Post about your zodiac sign, and whether or not it fits you.
Just posting this under the wire – but weekends in June are impossibly busy. I know, blah blah, everyone is busy, but that’s why this blog will be short, sweet but still come in under the deadline!
My zodiac sign: Leo. Today’s horoscope was:
“Set aside your own needs to listen to what the other person has in mind for a change. Don’t let your pride ruin a perfectly good relationship. Insisting on nursing your ego may come between you and someone who is close to your heart, and this is a good time to put an end to that kind of destructive behavior. And who knows — you might actually begin to like the give-and-take relationship that is beginning to develop. Never say never.”
“Ruled by the proud and fierce Lion, Leo energy is expressive and flamboyant in nature. It makes us fiercely protective of our passion projects and our loved ones. Leo inspires us to lead from the heart and wear our emotions on our sleeves. Under a Leo planetary transit, we can get swept away in our personal theatrics and romantic affairs, fully opening ourselves to the splendor of our desires and self-expression. The essence of Leo energy is courageous, kind, generous, loyal, protective, nakedly honest and entertaining. Negative manifestations of Leo energy can be arrogant, greedy, sloppy, coldhearted, jealous, aggressive and vain. Leo energy can cause us to upstage those around us, forgetting that each and every person is a valuable member to a team. Yet, we can direct the Leo flair for powerful leadership and let everyone have their spot in the sunshine. Used properly, Leo energy leaves others awakened and revitalized in an empowering way.”
Um, yes. It fits me right on down to the final letter. I am ALL of those things and honestly? Kind of surprised I haven’t really paid more time and attention to astrology as a whole. I find it deeply fascinating and this is a literal guide to who I am on any given day. I have no doubt the people I’m closest with would agree with it, too. For better or worse. Depends on who you are to me, I suppose. 🙂
